I've been there.
Hi — I'm Raf. You might know me from RISR Careers on YouTube. I started my career on a factory floor and worked my way up through sales, marketing, and full P&L management at a global industrial company, before moving into large-scale strategy and transformation at one of Australia's largest financial institutions — where I received the CEO Award, the highest honour in the organisation. From there I moved into the property sector, and eventually to MD and Country Leader at a global technology business.
Along the way I picked up a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, a Master of Business Management, and executive education at MIT.
Over the years I learned that the people who get ahead aren't always the hardest workers. They're the ones who know how to build relationships, create visibility, and position themselves for the next opportunity before it appears. I've led, coached, and mentored hundreds of professionals. Many of them have gone on to achieve things they didn't think were possible when we first met.
